The Swimming Club
The Swimming Club is an eclectic pool bar on the 11th floor of the KL Journal Hotel. Inspired by design cues from a Palm Springs/Mid Century Modernist aesthetic with a Tropical Malaysian touch.
From Lands Unknown’s consultation touched the full spectrum of development from naming, overall concept, architecture/interior design, F&B direction, communication tone down to the launch party for the bar.
Ever since its launch, The Swimming Club has quickly become KL’s latest social media darling.
The final result is a unique pool bar with a lazy afternoon/sunset vibe that wouldn’t look out of place in a Wes Anderson film.
